Top Star Marketing Celebrates 5th Anniversary with Annual VIP Party

Announces Cruise Division, Adds New Board Members, Names Brands Endeared Award Recipients

(Houston, Texas) March 13, 2017 – Top Star Marketing, LLC, a homegrown Bay Area Houston marketing firm now in its fifth year in business, celebrated Friday, February 17, 2017 by hosting its annual VIP Party at its Clear Lake office. Announcing the newly created Top Star Cruises, Danny Rodriguez and Jake Cooper as the newest members to its Board of Advisors, and new hire, Ami Blackwell, the party also showcased the talents of singer-songwriter Abbi Walker, who is performing on the inaugural Texas Country Music Cruise scheduled for September 3-10, 2017 departing from Galveston.

Experiencing a period of continued growth, Castillo is pleased to introduce Top Star Cruises into the fold with the announcement of two music-themed cruises in collaboration with LUXX Vacations and Royal Caribbean: Texas Country Music Cruise (September 3-10, 2017) and RumbaFest Latin Cruise (December 10-17, 2017). The Texas Country Music Cruise features artists Jack Ingram, Curtis Grimes, Matt Kimbrow, Bri Bagwell, Jake Worthington, The Rankin Twins, and Walker.

This new division joins holding company Top Star Group alongside Top Star Marketing which provides traditional marketing services that include campaign development, media buying, market segmentation, and producing the annual leadership conference Leadercast Clear Lake, and Top Star Events & Entertainment that offers movie screenings, snow parties, Texas Stars Live Band Karaoke, photo booths, entertainment booking and specialty event production.

In addition, Daniel Rodriguez and Jake Cooper were added to the Board of Advisors for one and two year terms respectively. Rodriguez, who attended his first meeting in January, is serving as Vice Chair of Capital Projects while Cooper, who was added in October, is in the role of Vice Chair of Risk & Legal.

Along with new additions to the Board of Advisors, Ami Blackwell joined the Top Star team as Project Manager. Holding an MBA from Metropolitan College of New York, Blackwell’s background in the music business, public relations and journalism offers senior-level experience to the Top Star team and will allow the organization to further its entertainment endeavors.
